This blog is about my 8 week trip to Asia in 2011.
The first 4 weeks were spent touring Vietnam and Cambodia. I had hoped to visit Laos but was so enthralled with Vietnam I spent longer than intended there.
I had nothing booked apart from a flight to Hanoi at the beginning and a flight from Bangkok at the end. I only planned about one or two days in advance and used trains, buses, taxis but no planes.
I then spent a few weeks catching up with family at my brother's villa in Thailand.
